Looks like our atMonitor has found its way to the most popular (Japanese) mac magazine “MacPeople”. We just got a note that it will be published on the 29th of September.
Can any of our Japanese users confirm this when it happens ?

Big thanks to Adam for this tip. A permanent fix will come soon in a form of atMonitor update.
We are aware that some users still experience the unexpected quits. atMonitor will quit (not crash) if the process polling takes an unusually long time. We suspect that the issue lies with Apple’s own toplib, which has been completely redone in 10.6. We will be rewriting atMonitor to use the new version of toplib but it is a nontrivial effort. If you are experiencing this problem please use atMonitor 2.0.
A cool way of using “Renice” – one of many functions of atMonitor, more at ZippyRippy.
Some users reported unexpected quits of atMonitor after 2.1.3 update. Please upgrade to 2.1.4 if you are experiencing this issue.
[regressionfix] Increase the guard timeout, that forced atMonitor to quit prematurely (introduced in 2.1.3)
Released an update to atMonitor. Couple of bugs fixed, upgrade recommended to all.
[bugfix] Fix crasher (Thank you Zsolt for the report and testing the fix).
[bugfix] Add another guard layer to never leave the helper process behind.
